Why Consider Supporting the Work of RUF at NMSU?

College is a cultural crossroads where students grapple with independence, freedom, vocation, and new relationships. Sadly, most universities are not Christ-exalting places.  This means some students may never hear the gospel and come to faith, while others may let their faith give way to personal doubts and cultural alternatives.

New Mexico State is a unique university.  Of its roughly 15,000 students at the main campus in Las Cruces, 60% are Hispanic.  And it is rated among the top schools for Latinos and Native Americans.  The work of RUF @ NMSU there is vital.  It reaches NMSU students for Christ through the gospel and builds them up in truth, love, and faithful fellowship.  The ministry is also regionally strategic.  It is one of only 2 RUF works in the entire Southwest "border region" of the United States.  For the sake of comparison, the Southeast has over 50 RUF works.  RUF @ NMSU has been and continues to be a catalyst and pipeline for leadership in the church in this region.  Because of God's work here, this ministry is populating cities, churches, hospitals, engineering firms, and schools across the Southwest with transformed "20-somethings."

We invite you to partner with us in ministry through prayer and financial support to advance God's kingdom at New Mexico State University.  We need both your prayer and financial support to succeed in our Kingdom mission.  We cannot reach NMSU for Christ and equip its students to serve without your help.
